Today we did Mathletics and I am going to be showing you what I did on it.

 

So for this question I would add the ones first which is 5 plus 3 which is 8.

Then add the tens which is 9 plus 4 is 13, kow you would keep the 3 then keep the number 1 in your head.

Then comes the hundreds, so 6 plus 2 is 8. Then this where the number 1 you kept in head, so you add 1 to 8 which is 9.

Answer:938

Since this is estimate we are getting to the closest number to your answer which 900!

Then I would takeaway the tens column which is 5-3=2.

But we do nothing to the hundreds. 

And your answer is 620.

But it's not usually the same answer you got because you are getting to the closet answer.

  See we are getting to the closet.

Cause 310 is closer to 300.
